FUTURE CITIES LAB (FCL) – Fabrication Design Lead

 JANUARY 2017 - Present

As head of Fabrication Design at Future Cities Lab I take the concept designs created by our principle architects, Jason Johnson and Nataly Gattengo and find strategies to build them in real life. Creating renderings and CAD models and the full range of digital fabrication tools, I prototype the complexities of each project, test colors, materials, and finishes, and determine an airtight fabrication schedules with using 3D models. Beyond design, I project manage, source, oversee fabrication, quality control, scheduling, and partner with outside fabricators.

MILLS COLLEGE ART MUSEUM (MCAM) – DIGITIZING TECHNICIAN

 APRIL 2014 - OCTOBER 2016

At MCAM, myself and my team created a digital archive of the Museum's collection of 2D work and 3D objects so that it could accessed by curators around the world. Using professional photography equipment and Adobe CC, I documented the museum’s collection and catalogued data about each artwork in a global museum database called EMBARK. I also designed and wrote the museum’s technical training manual for best practices.
